KWARA STATE UNIVERSITY (KWASU) RELEASES POST-UTME/DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

Kwara State University, located in Malete, has announced the release of its post-UTME and Direct Entry admission forms for the 2024/2025 academic session. This invitation is open to the following categories of candidates:

1. Candidates whose first choice of institution is Kwara State University, Malete.

2. Candidates who wish to choose Kwara State University (KWASU) as their first choice, but are required to change their choice of institution to KWASU on the JAMB Portal before the Pre-Admission Screening Registration.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Candidates must have a minimum of 5 O-Level credits in relevant subjects, obtained in not more than two sittings (except for MBBS, which requires only one sitting).

- Candidates awaiting O-Level results can also apply, but they will not be considered for admission until their results are available before the end of the admission exercise.

Registration and Screening Fees:

- Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only.

Registration and Screening Procedure:

1. Visit the KWASU Portal at http://portal.kwasu.edu.ng and click on "Click here to apply".

2. Click on the "Undergraduate" link at the top menu bar.

3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click on "Continue".

4. Complete the basic information page, ensuring that you provide a valid personal phone number and email address, then click "Next".

5. On the payment review page, click on "Make Payment" to be taken to the payment page where you can provide your card details.

6. Enter your ATM card (MasterCard or Visa) number and other details as appropriate, then submit.

7. Enter the "OTP code" sent to your phone and click "Continue" to complete your payment.

8. After a successful payment, click on "Main login" on the portal, enter your JAMB registration number and Surname as the password.

9. Click on "Login to dashboard" and complete your registration.

10. Ensure you print your completed registration form and payment receipt.

Note:

- If you have been debited and the network fails while completing your payment, you can re-query your payment attempts by entering your JAMB registration number and phone number, pressing the tab button to display a Re-query interface, and then re-querying your unsuccessful payment attempt.

Admission Criteria:

- Final admission into the University is based on meeting the University's and the Academic Programmes' minimum scores in UTME/DE, as well as the availability of spaces within the NUC-approved admission quota for Kwara State University, Malete (KWASU).

- Candidates are advised that falsification of citizenship certificates or any documents will lead to disqualification and prosecution.
