In a recent development, the prestigious Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has officially opened its online registration platform for the much-awaited Post-UTME screening exercise, aimed at facilitating admission into a wide range of courses and programs available for the upcoming 2024/2025 Academic Session. The registration process is set to kick off on Wednesday, 7th August, and run through till Friday, 20th September, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

Prospective candidates who have achieved a minimum UTME score of 180 in the 2024 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination, as well as Direct Entry (DE) applicants who have selected Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) as their institution of first choice, are identified as eligible participants for the screening exercise. Furthermore, candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings during O’ level examinations administered by recognized bodies such as WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or their equivalents.

Application Process

To initiate the application process, candidates are required to visit the official University website at www.futa.edu.ng for detailed information, complete the University Post-UTME Application Form online, and ensure to print out a copy of the Registration Form for reference purposes.

Registration Guidelines

It is imperative for all eligible candidates to complete the Registration Form as part of the screening exercise. During the payment and registration stages, candidates must accurately input their UTME Registration Number and Full names (as reflected on the JAMB slip) to avoid discrepancies.

Screening Fee

A screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000:00) only is applicable and should be remitted at any Bank through the Remita platform after the generation of the required payment code. Failure to register within the stipulated timeframe will result in disqualification from the Screening.
