IAUE Admission List: Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) Admission List for 2024/2025 Academic Session. Check name now! Following the concluded screening exercise for admission into the University for the 2024/2025 session, I am directed to release the list of successful candidates who applied for admission and passed through the processes for admission into the various Departments and Faculties.
Consequently, all successful candidates whose names appeared on this merit list (see pg. 4)should regularly visit the university website and other information pages of the university for the ‘Clearance Requirements/Procedures.
This is to notify all prospective candidates seeking admission into Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt, for the 2024/2025 academic session that the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) have been activated for the admission exercise. This means that candidates can now closely monitor their admission status and easily know when they have been offered admission. We therefore advise candidates to closely monitor their admission status on JAMB CAPS.

The Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt prospective students can check their admission status from the JAMB and school’s Portal.
Check Admission Status On JAMB Portal
To check your admission status on JAMB CAPS Portal and JAMB Admission Checking Portal, please follow the procedure below:
1. Go https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
4. Then click on Admission Status, You should then click on check admission status or Click on Access my CAPS.
5. Select the three-dotted lines at the top right corner of your browser ( i.e. ⋮) and then tick ‘Desktop site‘. (you can click on the image for better view)
6. Then click on admission status
7. You will either see admission in progress check back later, or NOT ADMITTED, or CONGRATULATIONS.
8. Case 1: If you see CONGRATULATIONS…, accept/Reject your admission and wait for further instruction.
9. Case 2: If you see admission in progress, then be patient, the status will change in few days/weeks.
10. Just check back after some time.

Next Steps After Admission
Once you have confirmed your name on the list, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) to accept your admission status. You can access CAPS through this link.
2. Print your admission letter and JAMB result slip. Make sure both are in colour, as they are required during the clearance and registration process at IAUE.
3. Pay the acceptance fee. Payment starts from Wednesday, 25th September 2024.
Important Information for Candidates
The IAUE admission list will continue to be updated based on different admission categories.
This process will depend on updates and approvals received from the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) for recommended candidates.
If you did not make it onto the first batch list, stay hopeful as the supplementary lists for UTME, Direct Entry, JUPEB, and Basic programmes are still in progress.
