Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) Notice on 2024/2025 Admission Procedures
The Management of Olabisi Onabanjo University wishes to inform the public about the 2024/2025 admission procedure as follows:
1. Only applicants who took part in the post-UTME screening exercise will be considered.
2. Candidates are expected to log on to the post-UTME portal to print their results. A minimum of 40% final aggregate is required to be “eligible” for full time admission.
3. The aggregate score is calculated as follows: ((UTME score + 400) × 60) + ((PUTME score + 100) x 40)
4. All admission processes will be conducted on JAMB CAPS; hence, prospective candidates must ensure they keep checking JAMB CAPS to accept their admission once offered.
5. Candidates who have not uploaded their O’level results on JAMB CAPS will not stand a chance of being offered admission.
6. Candidates who are offered admission on JAMB CAPS but do not “Accept” the offer, will not be issued JAMB Admission Letters to subsequently proceed with registration.
7. Once admission has been accepted on JAMB CAPS, candidates are expected to print their Admission Letters and then proceed to OOU Admission Portal to commence registration.
8. Candidates who may be privileged to be considered for programmes different from their programmes of choice must first “Accept” the PROGRAM/COURSE TRANSFER OFFER on JAMB CAPS.
9. Such candidates will subsequently have the opportunity to “Accept” their admission offer before proceeding with a “Change of Course” which must be done within 2 weeks in order to be able to print their JAMB Admission Letter.
10. Do not do a change of course without accepting a Transfer Offer! Kindly disregard unverified information from unofficial sources.
11. Other necessary information will be communicated in subsequent notices.
