University of Calabar (UNICAL) resumption date for 2024/2025 academic session has been announced.
The University of Calabar has announced Friday, October 11, 2024 as the new date for the commencement of academic activities in the institution.
In a release issued by the Registrar of the University of Calabar, Mr Gabriel Egbe, states that newly admitted students are expected to arrive on campus on Friday, October 11, 2024.
Commencement of Screening/ Registration for new Students as well as return of continuing students according to the release will begin from October 14, 2024.
The release further informed that registration would commence for Returning Students on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 while lectures for all students will begin on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
Orientation for freshmen would commence and run from Thursday, October 24, 2024 to Friday, October 25, 2024.
The Provosts of the College of Medical Sciences and the School of Post Graduate Studies, as well as, Deans, Directors and Heads of Departments have been directed to note the new development and ensure full compliance with the timetable.
The Registrar on behalf of the Vice Chancellor welcomes members of the University Community, especially students of the institution to the 2024/2025 academic session.
