Hainan University China Link Scholarship Details:
The Hainan University China Link Scholarship is funded by the Chinese Government Scholarship and Hainan Provincial Government Scholarship.
The China Link Scholarship has been established in order to deepen the academic friendship and mutual understanding between Chinese and foreign young generation, and to build a platform for the international exchanges and cooperation of young talents.
Applications are hereby welcome from international students and faculties hoping to engage in academic and research activities in China.
Requirements for Hainan University China Link Scholarship 2025
To be considered for the Hainan University China Link Scholarship, you must understand the following:
1. Applicants should be non-Chinese citizen, in good physical and mental condition, with good academic performance and conduct;
Be obligated to observe Chinese laws and university’s regulations, respect Chinese culture and customs, and fulfill all the conditions of Chinese Entry-exit.
Be under 45 years of age when applying for general scholars and 50 years of age when applying for senior scholars.
Language Requirements:
Applicants for Chinese-taught programs are required to obtain an HSK Band 4 with scores above 180 when applying;
Applicants for English-taught programs are required to obtain one of the following English tests: a score of 560 or above (paper-based test) or 78 or above (internet-based test) in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) , or a minimum overall band of 6.0 （IELTS）when applying.
Condition of exemption of submitting English level certificates: English-speaking students (Countries with English as native language or official language).
Benefits of Hainan University China Link Scholarship 2025
Successful applicants will receive a full scholarship from CSC during their stay in China, including
a tuition waiver,
free on-campus accommodation,
comprehensive medical insurance
monthly stipend of CNY 42,000 per year (CNY 3,000 for general scholars; CNY 3,500 for senior scholars).
