TAI SOLARIN UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION, IJEGUN [TASUED] ACTIVATES UTME/DE REGISTRATION PORTAL FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
Do you want to become a student at Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) in the 2025/2026 academic session? Good news! The admission screening form for UTME and Direct Entry candidates is now available online.
🔔 Who Can Apply for TASUED Post UTME or Direct Entry?
Before you apply, you need to check if you are qualified. There are three main groups of students who can apply for TASUED admission screening.
1. UTME Candidates (100 Level Admission)
You can apply if:
You chose TASUED as your First Choice during the 2025 JAMB registration.
You scored 160 or above in your UTME.
You are at least 16 years old by 1st October, 2025.
2. Pre-Degree Students (PDS)
You can apply if:
You have completed the Pre-Degree Programme at TASUED.
You chose TASUED as your First Choice in your 2025 UTME.
You scored at least 160 in your UTME.
3. Direct Entry (DE) Candidates
You can apply if:
You have a valid Direct Entry Form from JAMB.
You chose TASUED as your First Choice.
You completed JUPEB, NCE, OND, or TASUED Diploma.
📌 Important: Direct Entry students must submit:
Their Online Admission Screening Report, and
A copy of their result slip or certificate (e.g. NCE, OND, JUPEB)
To the TASUED Admission Office in Ijagun Campus.
💻 How to Apply for TASUED Post UTME / Direct Entry Screening
Follow these simple steps to apply online:
🔷 Step 1: Visit TASUED Website
Go to the official application portal at website
🔷 Step 2: Start Your Application
Click on “Apply Now”
Select “Undergraduate” to choose your Application Batch.
Create a new account.
Validate your email (a message will be sent to your inbox).
🔷 Step 3: Make Payment
Pay the application fee online (the amount will be displayed on the portal).
Use ATM card or bank transfer method provided.
🔷 Step 4: Fill Out the Application Form
Provide your personal details (name, address, phone number, etc.).
Enter your JAMB registration number.
Upload your passport photograph.
Enter your O’Level results (WAEC, NECO or NABTEB).
Use the Online Result Verification System (ORVS) to fetch your result automatically.
📄 Online Self-Screening Form
After completing the application form:
Click on “Screening Slip” under the “Education Services” menu.
Check if you meet the requirements for the course you chose.
If you qualify, you will be able to print your Screening Slip.
⚠️ What If You Are Not Qualified?
If your O’Level subjects do not match the course you chose:
You will be advised to Change Course.
This must be done on the JAMB CAPS platform before you can be considered for admission.
🧮 How TASUED Will Grade Applicants
The Online Screening System does not require you to come to campus. Your screening will be done using a point-based system that combines:
Your UTME score
Your O’Level grades (in the best 5 subjects that relate to your course)
Make sure the subjects you have in your WAEC/NECO/NABTEB results match the requirements for your chosen course. You can check these on the 2025 JAMB brochure, available on the JAMB website.

Application Starts: Monday, 21st July 2025
Application Closes: Friday, 8th August 2025 (by midnight)
You must complete your payment and registration before the deadline. Don’t wait till the last day!
🧾 Documents You May Need to Upload
While applying, you may be asked to upload or present these documents:
JAMB UTME/DE Registration Slip
O’Level Result (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB) — or combination of two sittings
Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
Local Government/State of Origin Certificate
Passport Photograph (Recent, clear photo)
📌 Some Things to Note Before Applying
Use your correct details: Your names must match what is on your JAMB and WAEC/NECO results.
One application per person: Don’t apply multiple times. If you make a mistake, contact the school.
Check your course requirements: Not all courses accept the same subjects. Look them up before you apply.
Use a working email and phone number: This is how the school will contact you.
Direct Entry applicants must take their documents physically to TASUED admission office after applying online.
