IMPORTANT THINGS YOU MUST KNOW BEFORE DIRECT ENTRY REGISTRATION

IMPORTANT THINGS YOU MUST KNOW BEFORE DIRECT ENTRY REGISTRATION

As Direct Entry admission approaches, it is very important that prospective candidates understand certain key facts that can either make or mar their registration and admission process. Many students miss opportunities every year, not because they are unqualified, but because they ignored basic requirements.

Below are the most important things you must know before Direct Entry registration begins.

1. Consistency of Names Across All Documents

This is one of the most critical issues in Direct Entry registration.

A slight difference in your personal details can completely stop your registration. What appears on your NIN must be exactly the same on your:

JAMB admission letter

O’Level result

A’Level result

Any error in spelling, arrangement, or name order can disqualify you from registration, not to talk of admission.

If you currently have issues such as:

Wrong name on NIN

Wrong name on WAEC/NECO/NABTEB certificate

Differences in name arrangement across documents

Kindly send a direct message immediately so corrections can be addressed early.

2. Important Information About Direct Entry EPIN

I have received several messages in my direct messages from candidates asking how to purchase their Direct Entry EPIN.

Please take note of this carefully:

👉 Direct Entry EPIN vending has NOT commenced.

👉 If anyone has sold an EPIN to you anywhere at this time, then you have either purchased the wrong item or you have been scammed.

Direct Entry EPIN vending will officially commence on March 2nd.

In addition, our first Direct Entry orientation programme will hold on February 25th.

Candidates are strongly advised not to buy or plan to buy any EPIN now. Kindly wait until the orientation programme is concluded, as all necessary guidance will be provided. This should also put to rest the question of whether Direct Entry registration has started.

3. Documents Required for Direct Entry Registration

Many candidates have also asked about the documents needed for registration. Below is the complete list:

🔥 Statement of Result

🔥 O’Level Certificate (WAEC / NECO / NABTEB)

🔥 A’Level Certificate (NCE / JUPEB / IJMB / BSc / OND / HND / Diploma / Cambridge / NABTEB)

🔥 JAMB Admission Letter of your previous institution

(or Diploma / JUPEB admission letter — obtain from your programme director if not yet available)

4. About the Direct Entry EPIN

The EPIN is not required at this time.

When the time is right, I will personally vend the EPIN and provide candidates with the required form. This form will be filled and taken to the JAMB office for proper registration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all guidelines.

Final Advice

Direct Entry admission is a serious and structured process. Candidates who pay attention to details, follow correct instructions, and avoid shortcuts are the ones who succeed.

Early preparation, correct documentation, and proper guidance are the keys.
