The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced that National Identity Number (NIN) is now COMPULSORY for registration for the 2026 WASSCE for School Candidates.
NOTE:
• Every candidate must have a valid NIN before registration.
• Candidates without NIN will NOT be able to complete registration.
• Parents and guardians are strongly advised to begin processing NIN immediately
NIN Registration can be done at any National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) enrollment centre.
