JAMB WITHHOLDS RESULTS FOR UNDERAGE CANDIDATES

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has responded to numerous inquiries from parents concerning candidates whose results currently display the status β€œNo Result Yet.”

JAMB explains that results for underage candidates have not been released. When these candidates attempt to check their results, the system returns the message β€œNo Result Yet.” According to existing regulations, only candidates who will be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026, are eligible to register for and participate in the UTME.

However, underage candidates may be considered under an exceptional category if they demonstrate outstanding ability by scoring 320 and above in the UTME and achieving at least 80% in subsequent screening stages. As agreed and endorsed by the parents of these candidates, only those who score 320 and above will be shortlisted and invited to proceed to further screening. Successful candidates at that stage may then be considered for admission under the exceptional candidates provision.

At this time, results for underage candidates remain unreleased.
