Airtel Africa Fellowship / 2025 Airtel Fellowship Program Details:

Airtel Africa Foundation (the “Foundation”) is the philanthropic arm of Airtel Africa plc, a leading provider of telecommunications and mobile money services, with a presence in 14 countries in Africa.

The foundation launched the “Airtel Africa Tech Fellowship” program to support young Africans from disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue higher education in STEM, as part of the Foundation’s broader goal of increasing the proportion of African youth with advanced Tech skills and shaping the next generation of tech leaders from the continent.

The Foundation is partnering with selected Universities to support meritorious African students who secure admission for a tech-related undergraduate program.

Eligibility Requirements for Airtel Foundation Scholarship 2025

To be considered for the Airtel Foundation Scholarship, you must:

  • Be an undergraduate student admitted into any one of the participating public universities.
  • Be a 100-level (new entrant) student of one of the participating universities
  • Not be a recipient of any other fellowship/scholarship/grants for the same purposes as being supported by Airtel Africa Foundation.
  • Demonstrate financial need to be eligible for the program.
  • Posses 5 credits, including English and mathematics, in one sitting.
  • Have JAMB results and an admission letter, a School ID card & WAEC certificate/ result to be shortlisted
  • Scored a minimum of 230 in JAMB
