The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates who are already admitted into any tertiary institution will not be eligible to participate in this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) unless they provide official evidence of withdrawal from the institution.
According to JAMB, running two academic programmes concurrently is strictly prohibited under the current admission guidelines. As a result, affected candidates must formally withdraw from their present institution and present valid proof of withdrawal before they can be considered for admission in the ongoing admission cycle.
JAMB further advised candidates and parents to confirm their admission status early and take all necessary steps to avoid disqualification or delays in the admission process.
