Delta State University, Abraka is inviting applications from qualified candidates for admission into the Pre-degree programme for the 2025/2026 academic session. This programme is designed to help prepare students for entry into the 100 Level of most degree programmes in the university, except for Medicine and Law.
Admission Requirements
To be admitted into the Pre-degree programme, candidates need:
– Five credits in relevant subjects in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination or an equivalent exam. These credits should be from not more than two sittings and must include English Language and Mathematics.
– For students wanting to study Pharmacy or Nursing Science, the five credits must be from one sitting.
– Candidates must meet specific departmental requirements as stated in the UTME brochure for Delta State University, Abraka.
– Applicants must register and write the 2026 UTME (JAMB) examination, choosing Delta State University as their first choice and meeting DELSU’s minimum cut-off.
– Candidates must choose the same course in JAMB and in the DELSU Pre-degree Programme.
Entrance Examination
Admission into the Pre-degree programme is based on a Computer Based Test (CBT). The test will be held at the Delta State University Examination Centre, Abraka on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
