Some schools in Nigeria still use Post-UTME, which means after writing JAMB, you will write another exam set by the school.
Your performance in that exam, plus your JAMB and WAEC results, will be used to decide if you get admission.
Other schools now use Screening instead of another exam.
In Screening, the school will only check your JAMB score, WAEC/NECO results, O’level grades, and sometimes your state of origin (for catchment area).
They won’t ask you to sit for another test; they just “screen” your documents and scores to see if you meet their cut-off mark.
So the main difference is:
* Post-UTME = Another exam after JAMB
* Screening = Checking results and documents only
