Federal University, Dutse (FUD) Releases Post-Utme/Direct Entry Admission form For 2025/2026 Academic Session

The management of Federal University Dutse (FUD) wishes to inform all candidates who applied for admission into the University that the Post-UTME/Direct Entry (DE) Online Screening Exercise for the 2025/2026 Academic Session has officially commenced. This screening exercise is compulsory for all UTME and DE candidates who wish to secure admission into any of the University’s programmes.

 Screening Schedule

The online screening exercise will run as follows:

  • Opening Date: Monday, 25th August, 2025

  • Closing Date: Monday, 15th September, 2025

Candidates are strongly advised to complete their registration within this period as no extension will be granted after the deadline.


 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the FUD 2025/2026 Post-UTME/DE screening, applicants must meet the following conditions:

For UTME Candidates

  • Must have chosen Federal University Dutse (FUD) as their First Choice Institution during the 2025 UTME.

  • Must have obtained a minimum UTME score of 150 in the 2025 JAMB examination.

  • Must possess at least five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings of WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB examinations.

For Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

  • Must have chosen FUD as First Choice.

  • Must possess at least 8 points in IJMB/NCE, OR a Lower Credit in National Diploma.

  • Must also have at least five (5) credit passes, including English and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.

Important: Every applicant, whether UTME or DE, must participate in this online screening exercise. Failure to do so automatically means the candidate will not be considered for admission.


 Screening Fee

  • The cost of the online screening form is Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.00) only.

  • Candidates can pay conveniently either online using a debit card or at any commercial bank nationwide, including FUD Microfinance Bank.


 Registration Procedure

Candidates are expected to follow the steps below carefully to avoid mistakes during registration:

  1. Visit the University Post-UTME/DE Portal: https://www.putme.fud.edu.ng

  2. Login: Enter your UTME/DE Registration Number and State of Origin (as password).

  3. Update Personal Details: Provide accurate information such as Date of Birth, Email Address, Phone Number, State and LGA of origin—ensuring it matches your UTME/DE registration slip.

  4. Generate Invoice & RRR Number: This will be used to process your payment.

  5. Make Payment: Pay the screening fee of ₦2,000 via:

    • Any acceptable debit card, OR

    • Any commercial bank nationwide (including FUD Microfinance Bank).

  6. Update Results: Enter your O’Level results (not more than two sittings) and A’Level results if applicable.

  7. Upload Documents:

    • Clear and authentic copies of your O’Level or A’Level results.

    • A recent passport-size photograph.

  8. Print Acknowledgement Slip: This serves as evidence of successful registration.


 Important Notes for All Candidates

All applicants are advised to strictly observe the following instructions:

  • Mandatory Documents: Every candidate must print and keep the following after registration:

    • Evidence of Remita payment receipt.

    • Post-UTME/DE acknowledgement slip.

    • JAMB UTME Notification of Result or Registration Slip.

  • Upload O’Level Results on JAMB CAPS: Candidates must ensure their O’Level results are uploaded on the JAMB CAPS portal for their admission to be processed successfully.

  • Deadline: The University will strictly enforce the deadline of 15th September, 2025. Late registration will not be entertained under any circumstance.

  • Accuracy of Information: False information or failure to follow the guidelines may lead to disqualification.
