The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has been recognized among Nigeria’s top 10 universities in the 2025 Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings. These rankings, released on June 18, 2025, evaluated over 2,500 universities from 130 countries, including 36 Nigerian institutions, based on their contributions to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

FUNAAB secured the 7th position nationally in the overall rankings, demonstrating a consistent upward trend. The university also achieved notable placements in specific SDGs:

6th in SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals)
