JAMB POSTPONES RELEASE OF RESCHEDULED UTME RESULTS FOR EXPERT EVALUATION:
Candidates who sat for the rescheduled UTME will have to wait a bit longer for their results, as JAMB has delayed the release originally planned for Wednesday.
The delay is due to a comprehensive review being carried out by Professor Boniface Nworgu, a renowned expert in educational measurement, who is expected at JAMB headquarters today (Thursday) to validate the integrity of the results before they are released.
According to JAMB spokesperson Dr. Fabian Benjamin, no new date has been set for the release. However, the board has gone ahead to release the results of underage candidates, although these cannot be used for admission purposes.
The rescheduled exam catered to 379,997 candidates who experienced technical issues in 157 centers across Lagos and the South-East. With a 95% turnout recorded, JAMB is also preparing a mop-up examination for candidates who missed both the original and rescheduled tests.
