The Southwest Zone TETFund Chairman, Sunday Adepoju, praised Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) for wisely using funds and successfully completing projects, noting no abandoned works despite COVID-19 challenges.
He was impressed by TASUED’s quality and called it a “21st-century university,” even suggesting it be renamed Federal University of Technical Education because of its strong vocational training focus.
Adepoju’s visit aimed to review the impact of TETFund’s support and ongoing projects. TASUED’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Oluwole Banjo, thanked TETFund for its crucial role in the university’s growth.
The Federal Government remains committed to supporting education development across the Southwest.
