UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS (UNILAG) RELEASES ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

In Preparation for this year’s 2025/2026 admission processes, The Management of University of Lagos (UNILAG) has released the specific requirements for its undergraduate programmes admission exercise for the academic session. 

The requirements are targeted at prospective Direct Entry and UTME candidates, to guide them in making better choices for their courses of interest. The document detailing these requirements includes information on the courses, Direct Entry requirements, UTME requirements, and UTME subjects for admission.

 UNILAG AGGREGATE:

To calculate your UNILAG aggregate score, use a 50-20-30 scoring system: UTME score (50%), O’Level score (20%), and Post-UTME score (30%). 

Here’s a breakdown:

1. UTME Score:

Divide your JAMB score by 8 and assign it a maximum of 50 points.

2. O’Level Grades:

Calculate your score based on the best 5 core relevant subjects. Use these grade values:

A1 = 4.0

B2 = 3.6

B3 = 3.2

C4 = 2.8

C5 = 2.4

C6 = 2.0

3. Post-UTME Score:

Calculate your score from the 40-question post-UTME exam, with each correct answer worth 0.75 marks, for a maximum of 30 points.

4. Total Aggregate Score:

Sum the UTME score (50), O’Level score (20), and Post-UTME score (30) to get your total aggregate score out of 100.
