The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is pleased to inform the general public, prospective candidates, parents, guardians, and all stakeholders that the registration process for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) has officially been announced and is set to commence on 26 January 2026 (Vending of E-PIN 19th January 2026).
Candidates are strongly advised to prepare in advance by:
β’ Ensuring a valid National Identification Number (NIN) linked to their details.
β’ Creating or verifying a JAMB profile (profile code generation is already ongoing in many cases).
β’ Having a valid, functional personal email address and phone number.
β’ Preparing necessary documents and fees (registration fees remain unchanged from previous years).
UTME E-PIN Vending and Sales:
β’ Sales of UTME application documents and E-PINs ( Jan 19, 2026 – February 26, 2026, while Registration begins on 26 January 2026 to February 28th 2026.
Direct Entry (DE) Registration:
β’- Sale of 2026 Direct Entry application documents commence 02 March 2026 to April 2026 (DE registration is conducted at designated JAMB State and Zonal Offices only).
