U.S. President Donald Trump has publicly clarified that the United States is not involved in the recent Israeli strike on Iran.
He stated on Truth Social Sunday morning that Washington had “nothing to do with the attack on Iran, tonight.
In his post, Trump warned Tehran against any retaliatory measures involving the U.S., warning of a severe military response if provoked.
If we are attacked in any way, shape, or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the U.S. Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before,” he declared.Despite his stern stance, Trump also suggested the possibility of diplomacy, asserting that a peace deal between Iran and Israel is still achievable.
We can easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel, and end this bloody conflict,” he said.
His comments follow an earlier ultimatum from this spring, in which he gave Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei a 60-day window to negotiate a new nuclear agreement.Additionally, Trump reportedly advised Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to delay any military action during this negotiation period.
As Israel continues airstrikes on Iranian territory, Trump told CNN, “I don’t know if you know but I gave them a 60-day warning, and today is day 61.
