The Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Thursday, March 19, and Friday, March 20, 2026, as public holidays to mark the Eid-ul-Fitr celebration, signifying the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
The Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, announced the holidays on behalf of the Federal Government, extending warm greetings and congratulations to Muslim faithful for successfully completing Ramadan.
Dr. Tunji-Ojo urged Muslims to continue embodying virtues of love, generosity, peace, tolerance, and sacrifice highlighted during the holy month.
