The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a new option allowing candidates to change their registered GSM number and/or email address if they have lost access to their previously registered contact details.
The service is designed to assist candidates who can no longer access the SIM card or email account linked to their JAMB profile.

According to the notice, candidates who have lost access to their registered GSM number or email account can now make the necessary changes through the approved service.
The new option is scheduled to commence on Monday, September 21, 2026.
Candidates who need to update their contact details are advised to follow the official JAMB procedure when the service becomes available.

JAMB has also stated that the service can be accessed only once.
Candidates are therefore advised to carefully confirm the new GSM number and/or email address they intend to register before proceeding with the change.
Applicants should ensure that the new contact details are active and accessible, as future communication and access to JAMB-related services may depend on the information provided.
