The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued a reminder to candidates accused of soliciting or paying for illicit assistance during the 2026 UTME registration exercise, as well as 2025 Direct Entry (DE) candidates whose submitted certificates have been declared fake by their institutions, to appear before a virtual investigation panel.
According to the Board, the session is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
JAMB disclosed that details of the access passcode have already been sent to the affected candidates via their registered phone numbers (SMS), email addresses, and personal profiles.
The Board further noted that the registration numbers of the 94 affected candidates have been published on its official website under the Quicklinks section tagged “Solicitation Candidates.” It warned that failure to attend the virtual session would be considered an admission of guilt.
In addition, JAMB stated that the list of invited institutions has also been made available on its website under “Institutions with Outstanding Responses.”
