The Lagos State Scholarship Board has announced the schedule for the Indigeneship Verification Exercise for applicants of the 2025/2026 bursary and scholarship awards.
In a notice sent to applicants, the board confirmed that individuals who applied for the scholarship scheme are required to participate in the verification exercise at designated centres across the state.
According to the schedule released by the board, the exercise will hold in two phases across the five divisions of Lagos State.
The first phase will take place from April 13 to April 17, 2025, covering Badagry, Ikorodu, and Epe divisions. Applicants from Badagry Division are to attend the exercise at Lagos State University of Education (LASUED), Otto-Ijanikin, while those from Ikorodu Division will be verified at Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), Ikorodu. Candidates from Epe Division are expected at LASUED, Nofonja-Epe.
The second phase is scheduled for April 20 to April 24, 2025. Applicants from Lagos Division will attend the verification exercise at St. George’s Primary School, Falomo, while those from Ikeja Division are to appear at the Lagos State Scholarship Board office located beside the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) office in Iyana Ipaja.
The board emphasized that applicants must attend the exercise based on their indigeneship classification.
Applicants were also advised to follow the board’s official social media platforms for further updates regarding the exercise.
