Independent findings have confirmed that Lagos State University (LASU) has begun the final approval stage of its online clearance exercise for newly admitted full-time undergraduate candidates for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The clearance process, conducted through the LACACA portal, has been ongoing for some time. However, it does not mean that all candidates reached completion immediately. Our checks revealed that some candidates’ portals now display 100% clearance status, signifying that they have been fully cleared by the University management.
Candidates who attain this milestone are expected to receive their matriculation numbers soon, which will serve as their official identity within the institution.
Key Requirement: All candidates who reach 100% clearance must print out their Clearance Slip from the portal. This slip is essential for faculty and departmental clearance and will be required during subsequent admission procedures.
