The Lagos State University has directed all academic staff and final-year students to register on the Nigeria Education Repository and Databank (NERD) Portal in compliance with Federal Government policy.
According to the directive, academic staff are to complete their registration via the official onboarding portal, while lecturers may also be onboarded through the institution’s designated NERD Desk Officer. Final-year students, on the other hand, are required to register through approved NERD centres.
The University further stated that project supervisors are expected to verify students’ submissions to ensure accuracy before clearance is granted on the platform.
Management warned that failure by academic staff to comply promptly may adversely affect the NYSC mobilisation process of final-year students, urging all concerned to complete the registration without delay.
