This is to inform the general public, especially prospective students of the School of Health Information Management (SHIM), ATBUTH, Bauchi, that applications are now invited for admission into the full-time National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Admission Requirements
For National Diploma (ND):
OโLevel Results: Minimum of 5 credits in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB (English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) at not more than two sittings. Note: NABTEB can only be combined with NABTEB.
UTME: Candidates must have sat for the 2026 UTME and obtained the required cutoff point.
JAMB Subject Combination: English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
For Higher National Diploma (HND):
OโLevel Results: Minimum of 5 credits in core science subjects (same as ND requirements) at not more than two sittings.
Academic Qualification: Evidence of completion of ND in HIM or Health Records Technician with a minimum of Lower Credit.
Professional Requirements: A current practicing license.
Work Experience: Evidence of one (1) year mandatory Industrial Training (IT) from an accredited health institution.
Special Consideration: Candidates with a Pass (CGPA 2.00โ2.49) at ND level with two or more years of post-ND cognate experience may be considered.
Documentation: Evidence of JAMB Admission letter during ND admission.
Important Notes
Duration: Both ND and HND programmes consist of two (2) academic sessions (four semesters), including the Studentsโ Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES).
Screening: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a screening test and interview at a later date.
