The University of Port Harcourt has commenced the online registration for the 2026/2027 Direct Entry admission screening exercise. Candidates who selected the university as their choice for Direct Entry admission are invited to apply by completing the online form on the university’s official website, www.uniport.edu.ng.
Registration Period:
Friday, May 15, 2026 – Friday, June 19, 2026
Registration Procedure:
- Visit www.uniport.edu.ng and navigate to the Direct Entry admission portal.
- Input your JAMB Registration Number and verify pre-loaded JAMB details.
- Generate a Remita payment code online or print a payment slip and pay a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000 at any bank with Remita platform access.
- Obtain a Remita receipt with an access code from the bank teller.
- Log back into the portal, confirm payment, and complete the online application form.
- Submit required documents at the Admissions Office or send them via courier to:

Required Documents:
- Photocopy of JAMB Slip
- Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
- O’Level Examination Results (WASSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB)
- A’Level/Diploma/NCE/JUPEB/IJMB/Degree Results with CGPA as applicable
Important Notes:
- Consistency of name across all documents is mandatory; discrepancies may lead to disqualification.
- Candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 2026.
- Registration will close at midnight on June 19, 2026—late applications will not be accepted.
- Candidates must use valid personal phone numbers and email addresses for registration.
- The registration process is entirely online; physical presence at the campus is not required.
- Candidates must upload all necessary results to the JAMB CAPS portal to be considered for admission.
