The management of the Federal University, Gashua (FUGASHUA) has invited suitably qualified candidates to apply for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) online screening exercise.
According to the university, the online screening exercise will commence on Monday, 7th September 2026, and close on Wednesday, 7th October 2026.
Candidates who selected the Federal University, Gashua as their first-choice institution and meet the admission requirements are encouraged to complete their registration within the stipulated period.
Eligibility for Screening
UTME Candidates
Applicants must:
- Have chosen Federal University, Gashua as their first-choice institution.
- Have scored a minimum of 150 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Direct Entry Candidates
Candidates applying through Direct Entry must have selected Federal University, Gashua as their first-choice institution and possess any of the following qualifications:
- Lower Credit or above in Higher National Diploma (HND)
- Lower Credit or above in National Diploma (ND)
- Credit or Merit in Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
- IJMB with a minimum of 6 points
Registration Procedure
Eligible candidates are required to:
- Visit the University’s official website: https://fugashua.edu.ng
- Register for the online screening exercise.
- Pay a non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000 through the designated payment platform.
Registration Period
- Opening Date: Monday, 7th September 2026
- Closing Date: Wednesday, 7th October 2026
Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the closing date, as late applications may not be considered.
