The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has commenced the uploading of admission offers on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Candidates who participated in the University’s Post-UTME screening exercise and are awaiting admission are advised to begin checking their JAMB CAPS regularly, as successful candidates are now being offered admission in batches.
How to Check FUTA Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
Candidates should follow the steps below to check their admission status:
- Visit the JAMB e-Facility Portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
- Log in with your registered email address and password.
- Click on “Check Admission Status.”
- Select your examination year and enter your JAMB Registration Number.
- Click “Access my CAPS.”
- Navigate to the Admission Status tab to view your admission status.
Candidates who have been offered admission are advised to:
- Accept or reject the admission offer on JAMB CAPS.
- Print their JAMB Admission Letter after accepting the offer.
- Wait for further directives from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) regarding acceptance fee payment, clearance, and registration procedures.
Candidates whose admission status is still showing “Not Admitted” are advised not to panic, as the admission process is ongoing and additional batches are expected to be uploaded.
Prospective students are encouraged to check their JAMB CAPS and the University’s admission portal regularly for further updates.
